The project aims to break the existing prejudices and stereotypes towards people with mental illness through an inclusive futsal tournament that involves the participation of users, family members, and professionals from psychiatric rehabilitation institutions as well as students from various institutions of higher education. In addition, this project provided the ideal environment to foster interaction between the university community and this population, proven strategy in reducing stigma in mental illness.
