Suporte Interpares

Finished (1 Year: May 2013 – Sept 2013)

The project aimed to promote the recovery-focused practice, improving the experience of service users and improving outcomes, by recruiting, training and employing a team of peer support workers with personal experience of mental health problems. Peers were matched with a service user and work on specific goals to improve their mental wellbeing, improve self-confidence and self-esteem and connect people with others in their local community.
