MyBack

Effectiveness and implementation of a personalized self-management program to prevent recurrences and disability and promote musculoskeletal health in patients with low back pain.

On Going

The “MyBack” project aims to compare the effectiveness of a personalized self-management program for the prevention of recurrences and usual practice, compared to isolated usual practice, in people with low back pain, who resort to primary health care. The program to be tested is adjusted to the user´s biopsychosocial characteristics and physical abilities and aims to promote self-management in users at risk of recurrence of low back pain episodes. It is intended to train people with low back pain to manage their symptoms in the long term, prevent functional and occupational disability, and reduce the need to resort to health services due to recurrences of this condition.
